The Need to Pray

Prayer invites supernatural solutions into natural problems. Prayer unleashes extraordinary power and resources into ordinary scenarios. Prayer is a portal from the seen to the unseen. 

Outcomes are commonly altered because of prayer. The closer your walk with God, the more impactful are your prayers. (JA. 5:16) “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you maybe healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Through prayer focus on this acronym as an excellent example of the order and the elements of prayer. A.C.T.S. It means Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. Supplications are your lists of prayers for other people and situations. 

Take time to adore and acknowledge the beauty and majesty of God. Confess to God what He already knows. Thank God for everything- the good and the bad. And pray for other people’s needs, requests, and situations.

Ask God to forgive you, to heal you, to teach you, to help you, to hear you, to change you, to grow you, and more. Prayer is the starting point of every move of God personally and corporately. Prayer can give you cleansing and clarity. 

Most importantly, it gives you an audience with the Maker of the universe. Take it!
