The Holy Spirit, like Jesus was present at the creation of the earth and mankind. It is the power of God and the breath of God. When God (triune) looked at creation and decided to make man, God said, “Let US make man in OUR image”. The human brain is one of the masterpiece designs of all of God’s creation. And man was made with soul, and emotions, and will, and intellect, and spirit(eternal). The Holy Spirit was present and is the One who breathed life into Adam and symbolically into all of mankind.
When God, The Father, manifests and demonstrates His power on earth, it is done so through the Holy Spirit primarily. The works and the ways of the Holy Spirit will never move or operate in contradiction to the works or the ways of God, The Father, or of God, The Son.
He is known also as the Comforter and will pray on our behalf and remind us often of God’s presence and His promises. The Holy Spirit takes up residence in the body of every true new believer in Jesus. He guides, teaches, blesses, and protects. He empowers us to accomplish the will of God in our lives.
The Holy Spirit is our source of wisdom, direction, power, comfort, confidence, and competence.
The fire of God, the wind of God, the power of God, the spirit of God, the breath of God, the voice of God are all manifested in our lives through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can speak to us and He can speak and act through us.
And thanks be to God because the Holy Spirit is also the seal of the promise of God- ensuring and guaranteeing our inheritance and our place in heaven.
