On Apostle David's second trip to Africa in December of 2019, Bishop Daniel Amissah of the Christ Gospel Prayer Ministry International brought him to a remote village called Potwabin. 15 years earlier, Bishop Amissah and his team first went in and brought much change and progress to this small village. Unfortunately, the Bishop became very ill for a long time and lost donors and momentum and was forced to put his vision for this community on hold. While in Ghana, Apostle David met the village leaders and saw the work that was started by Bishop Daniel. A promise was made that he would not forget this village nor their needs as expressed that day.
One of their requests was for their primary well to be repaired so that they could access water once again. To seal the promise, Apostle David gave his hat (being worn for the first time that day) to the village chief. Red Gone White Church is pleased to announce that we did not forget Potwabin. We hired a local well expert to completely refurbish it with a new line, as well as a new pump head, and made sure that everything else was maintained while exposed.
We hope to build them a community center that will aslo serve as a makeshift church until we are able to finish building the one started by Bishop Amissah many years earlier. We also want to install a latrine since there is no designated place to relieve yourself anywhere in this village.
