In 2017, Apostle David and his wife Rev. Robin Anderson met and started to regularly financially support a relatively new orphanage in Pakistan. David even built a couple of pages on his personal website to promote and introduce them to other people. You can check them out here... https://redgonewhite.com/joseph-orphanage. Danish Joseph is the founder of this orphanage. David and Robin have continued to support them to date.
Later, about one month after receiving the call to become missionaries, Pakistan became significant again. Apostle David met (via Facebook) another man with a heart of gold and great and godly vision. This is when he met Rev. Shafiq Yaqoob and his wife Evangelist Farah Naz. David, Robin, Shafiq and Farah became fast friends. At that time Shafiq's church was in the middle of a building project and about to lay the first bricks on what would become their new church building. God moved David and Robin to greatly support this building effort. They were amazed at how quickly the building went up and how little it cost in American dollars. And how great an impact their money was able to have in Pakistan. Shafiq and Farah's church is called Garden of Prayer Life Ministry. Over the last two years while Apostle David was putting great focus and many resources into Africa, he was quietly in very regular contact with both Danish and Rev. Shafiq. Apostle David has been mentoring and encouraging Rev. Shafiq all of that time. They have been eager to partner in ministry and have a great vision of what God will do through their partnership. However, both were waiting for God to give the "green light'.
Over the last handful of months, a few new developments occurred. On the one hand, Apostle David continues to meet and build relationships with pastors and orphanage directors in Pakistan. God is moving pieces in place and will soon orchestrate something quite amazing. Also quietly behind the scenes, Apostle David and Rev. Shafiq have been visualizing, developing and getting set to implement a brand new ministry called the Brick Kiln Freedom Ministry. This was born out of the great hearts of compassion of Rev. Shafiq Yaqoob and his wife and ministry teams. They started to visit these modern-day slaves and bring them food and clothing and other provision as well as encouragement through God's gospel. From there came hopes and visions of building a ministry that could literally set them free and give them new leases on life. Children and whole families are used as human machines in the making of thousands of bricks daily. Apostle David insisted that RGWC would not establish an ambassador or an official presence in Pakistan until they had actual ministry on the ground. Apostle David and Rev. Shafiq have agreed to partner as co-founders of the Brick Kiln Freedom Ministry. So officially it is to be known as "A ministry of Red Gone White Church in partnership with Garden of Prayer Life Ministry of Pakistan".
In the launching and establishment of this new and exciting ministry it is now time to finally call Pakistan part of this ministry. On that note, Rev. Shafiq Yaqoob has graciously accepted the invitation to be RGWC's official Ambassador in Pakistan. You will see much come out of this newfound partnership for the glory of God. The caliber of this man and his ministry and vision and heart are of a world-class level and we are proud to be associated with him, his family and the Garden of Prayer Life Ministry.
This now establishes the Red Gone White church with ministry on the ground in three continents. God willing, more are to come even still.
